Will CA tresspass charge affect my citizenship. Please advise

Hi Gurus,

I desperately need your advice.

I am from Australia. I have been charged with trespassing in CA. This is a misdemeanour which is not a crime of moral turpitude. I am so tensed up. Will it affect my citizenship process? Will I get deported? Please advise.

CA PENAL CODE SECTION 602(l) [occupation]
prohibits the entry and occupation of any real property whether open to the public or not without the consent of the owner, owner's agent, or person in lawful possession. Under this section, the property must be occupied for some period of time.
 
I agree with Rahul,
but why not go ahead and at least consult a decent lawyer to be sure and in the safe side. You don't want to waste time and mony waiting for the approval, and on top of that, get stressed out over it.

I believe you only have to worry most if you have 1 year of jail time or more.
