Wife's H1 needs my LC?

My wife is on OPT right now, and her company is sponsoring her H1-B.

The lawyer of her company asks her for my H1-B approval notice and copy of perm Labor Cert filing.

My H1-B makes sense because she needs to transfer to H4 before the H1-B starts (Oct 1), but what do they need my LC for? Anyone have a clue? Is this fishy?

your LC copy is not needed if she is filing change of status to H4. ask the lawyer why he needs LC copy or inform him that your employer is not giving you the LC copy
