Wife's case transferred to Vermont...

My case was approved in July and I have received my plastic card. But my wife's case was transferred to Vermont for no apparent reason. We have and still lived in California all through the the I-485 processing period. Her original application was submitted a couple months after mine and she completed her 2nd FP a month ago. We called the Customer Service# but they had no additional details why it was transferred.


ANYONE WITH A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE???? Please post
 
Almost same thing just happen to us today. I had my 2FP on 18th/08, and there has no
any 2FP notice for my wife. She called up INS yesterday and this moning the online message
for her changed and we got "On August 25, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in SAN JOSE, CA for them to schedule and conduct your interview.". I know shit happens, but isn't there enough shit already?
