Wife visiting US on B2

I am a GC holder just married to my wife who is visiting on 10 yr B2 visa. She will be returning to her home country next month before her I-94 expires. She would like to return in April or May using her B2 visa.

From reading the postings in this Forum, many have expressed concerns about being deny of entry at POE. My question follows:
1. Should she mention visiting her husband when asked why she is visiting US?
2. Should she stay in her home country longer, say til Summer before returning? Of course we would prefer not staying separate for so long.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Please provide me the answer. I am in the exact same situation. Thanks in advance

Back to back visits (visits with a short time between one another) are strongly discouraged. The general rule of thumb is to spend as much time (if not more) out of the US than in it in order to improve chances of being allowed entry (ie, after a 6 month visit, do not attempt a re-entry for another 6 months or more). To return shortly after a lengthly visit increases the chances of a denial of entry.

Elcupacabras has summed it up adequately. All I want to do is add one note. A visit visa should be used for visits only. No one should try to use it to live in the US. That can lead to problems.

Please provide me the answer. I am in the exact same situation.
