Wife travelling before FP date-what to do

Today I have received the FP notices for me and my wife. The scheduled date given is 09/17. Now here is the problem. My wife is scheduled to travel to our home country on 09/14.

So my question to you is what should we do - what are the possible options. Is there anyway we can prepone? Guys - please help / suggest...

Thanks in advance

sg930 - we went to give our FPs about 10 days before the scheduled date. We had no special reason to do this, except a reluctance to wait. There were no questions asked as to why we were early. A lot of folks have done this as posted in this forum. At the ASC in Houston where we gave our FPs, the office is open on Saturday and we walked in after noon.

Especially since you have a valid reason, you should be able to get it done before your wife travels.

I have a similiar question following the same issue. My wife is traveling back to home country to stay for a month or two. What if FP arrives during this timeframe? Of course she will shorten her vacation and fly back to get the FP done, but my question is how long is a FP schedule valid for? Are you given a specific date to do FP or a date range? If a range, how wide?

Thanks!

They have a change of date and time for the appointment.. So you can also request the date you wanted....in case if you can't bring your wife in US at that time.

Done - thanks for all the reply

This morning we just walked in with our FP notices. The guy in the front desk pointed out that we have arrived earlier but then I told him that my wife would be travelling before the scheduled date and so we came today. I think he got satisfied with my explanation and let us in. And within next 20 minutes we are done and out.
Thanks
