Wife to travel on AP with i-485 pending, husband's i-485 approved.

Hi,
I have received my green card but my wife has not been approved yet.
we are travelling to India. My wife will be using AP for travel.
my question is If she receives her i-485 approval when we are in India then what will happen when we come back to USA at the port of entry. has anybody gone through this?

I have the same question and situation. My I485 has been approved but not my wife's and we are planning for a travel.

Just use the AP for reentry (as long as AP has not expired); it is no problem that 485 gets approved when you are abroad. Spouse's 485 approval should have no impact either.
Search the postings for even confusing case (like my wife) where the 485 got approved just few days before the trip abroad; she could get passport stamped since without the notice. She travelled abroad and came back on AP (thru Boston), and then got her passport stamped (and now has got the card).
