Wife\'s SSN for FP

Is it mandatory for my to have SSN when we go for FP. She was on H4 and she has a Tax ID number. We did not apply for her SSN after getting the EAD. Is this a problem?

Going for FP, do I need SSN for wife? She got only ITIN.

SSN for FP

My wife went for FP. She had an ITIN and then later she got SSN also.
But we forgot her SSN and so did not fill the number in the form they give when we went for FP. So the bottomline is SSN is not required to get the FP done.

I confirmed from my friend who\'s wife went to FP, don\'t require SSN. I am not sure to fill ITIN at that place in the form. Better leave it blank I guess.
