Wife\'s Plastic Card Not Received....VSC Case

We got our passport stamped in Philly, on 9/28/01. I received
my and my kid\'s plastic card on 12/12 but have not received my
wifes card as yet, and the AVM still plays the same message "Case
approved and letter mailed......." . It ha not changed to card
ordered as yet.

Is this normal or it is happening to someone else, please reply.
Any help will be appreciated.

Any GC Guru Please Help....

I have not received my wife\'s GC and planning to visit home,
should I call VSC or wait, Why it is taking so long.
 
I suggest you to talk to IIO.

I didn\'t get my plastic card, I came to know that my card was sent back to INS, by Post Office, because it was delivered to incorrect address. I called INS and talk to IIO, IIO is resending my plastic card to correct address. I am actually waiting for it...

 I am in the same boat. I did consular processing and got my passport stamped at Detroit on 11/11/01. I received the plastic card by 12/21
But my wife didnot. You can try calling the Texas Service Center at 214-381-1423. They mailout all cards including VSC cases. It is extremely difficult to get in. Try around 7:50 AM CST and keep redialling. Once you are in their automated system
try to hang around by playing with the menu options till they transfer you to an IIO. I waited 1 hour
In my wife\'s case, it seems that the photographs were lost in transit
They didnot inform us. The lady told me to go to the local INS office, with 2 photographs and fill out form I-89 (i think)
Then I would hope for the best
 
The card is even not ordered!

If the AVM says "this case has been...", it means the card is
not ordered yet. So, I think you should check with VSC.
 
Got the Card Today 01/22/02

I got my wife\'s Plastic card today in mail,

PP stamped 9/28/01 at Philidelphia
My card received on 12/09/01
Wife\'s card received 01/22/02

So Hang on Yours is comming .... Thanks for your support
