Wife not received Interview letter but I did

My wife and I sent our N-400 application to NSC jointly. Received finger print notifications on same day and appointments on same day. 10 days ago I have recently received my interview notification but my wife has not yet received the letter yet. Below are the details:

N-400 Receipt date: 05/23/2006
USCIS Center: NSC;
Checks cashed: 05/25/2006
Finger Print Appointment date: 06/17/06

My Receipt # sequence precedes my wife's sequence by " 28 "
My Interview notification letter received: 07/22/06;
My interview date in Chicago: 09/06/06
My case status on USCIS: "Case not found" (is this normal?)

My wife has not received interview notification yet:
My wife case status on USCIS: Receipt date is 05/23/2006

I tried calling USCIS, but they just repeated what is on the web site. Could the mailman have delivered it to wrong address? I want to make sure that my wife does not miss her interview (in case the letter was sent out but did not make it to us). I am hesitant to rely on the USCIS web site's accuracy becuase it it stating my case is not found when I have actually received interview appointment.

call 1800

1800 can tell if u have been scheduled......talk to someone dont check through the automated system
 
I am dealing with the very same issue. My wife has gone all the way through the process and I am still waiting....

Your case change to "not found" is normal, because your file has been transfer to DO. And usually it is a signal while you have found your case not online, it means your IV letter is on the way. Your wife's case still online, it most mean they still wait for her background check cleared then issue IV letter. You can also create online file to see your wife's case last updated date, just for make sure you won't lost in mail.

What are your timelines.

Mine are as follows
ND - 22st April, 2006 (both)
FP - 17th May, 2006 (both)
Wife got Interview letter on 9th May, 2006
I am still waiting.

Where did you call? What are alternatives? how to proceed?

No, didn't we just prove that they discrminate against women last week?

this shows you that concluding from anecdote evidence is as scientific as picking your dinner out of the river.
 
My wife received the IL, but I did not

My wife received her interview letter yesterday, but I am still waiting. My status was last updated on 6/1/06 on the USCIS website.
 
Looking for an update from everyone.....I am still waiting for my IL. Has anyone else who's wife already received their IL gotten theirs?

I think that my FBI name check may have been completed! My case just disappeared from the web site. I am hoping that an interview letter comes in the next few days!
