HI friends,
I have been called for an interview in Singapore on April 24th.
I have a nice IELTS score and am a professional.
My wife does not have a degree but is shown on the form has having her own business which is true.
She is not fluent in English.
My question is,will it adversely affect my interview ?
What are my chances ?
In case I get through will I have to leave immediately ?
Is it enough if I carry a cashier's cheque for Can$10,000 as proof of funds ?
Thanks

I believe you are the principal applicant. Therefore it does not matter if your wife is not fluent in English.

I suggest you apply for CAIPS notes. These notes can give you an idea why you have been called for an interview. You can order these notes from www.caipsnotes.com and it costs US$ 30. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to get the notes so you should apply ASAP.

Thank You Kenny

That is a relief.
Yes I am the primary applicant.
It is just that the interview letter was a bolt from the blue.
Had applied in 2001 and because of the IRPA and the class action suit , had not given it much thought.
Thanks again.
Nijil
