Wife is in India for 9 months - with GC. Is admission into US - a problem?

Hi Gurus,

   I need small information help. Myself and my wife are having green cards. My wife is India for last 9 months for her studies. (we did not take any prior permission from INS, Her studies got delayed. So she had to stay for this long.)

   Now she is planning to come to USA next month(April 2002). Will there be any problem for her to get in? (In fact, I am going next week to India, We will come back together in April)

   Is her admission into USA is questionable by INS officers?

   If so, What kind of documents / reasons can we give them to support her admission?

   If anyone had faced similar problems earlier, Please share your views, That wil be helpful for me.

7th yr H1b

My 6 years H1B expires in june. I-140 approved june\'01. Still unmarried. Planning on filing I-485. Employer is filing 7th year extn. If I marry after 6 years deadline, will my wife get H-4 visa at Chennai consulate with my 7th year H1B extn? Does anyone have a clue?
