Wife Has Tourist Visa, Green Card Pending Can She visit USA?

My wife is currently in the last stages of getting her Green Card interview and coming on her way to the US. We got married overseas and we were living overseas as well. Her application was sent in while we were abroad. She however has a tourist visa that was issued to her before we got married.

1)Will there be any problem if she comes and visits the US while her Green Card application is pending?

2)Will her application for residency be visible to immigration when she arrives? will there be a problem for her if she comes just to visit...?

According to USCIS there is no problem but I just wanted to make sure.
 
A1: Worst case, she may be denied entry and sent back on the first plane.
A2: Most likely it will be available to the POE agents. See worst case above.

Another question though..

1) If she is rejected entry will it affect her application for the green card in any way?
