I am on H1B and valid for another 4 years. My wife has been on H4 for last 2 years. She found a comapany who applied for her H1B and got approved, which starts from today October 1.
But now she can not join the company as she is in her final month of pregnancy.
What happens now?
1. Does she become out of status if she doesn't join the company?
2. If yes to the first question then would it be ok if she joined 2 months down the line.
3. If she is out of status, what do we need to do to bring her back to valid H4 status.
4. the last case, can she join the comapny and go on maternity leave immediately.
