Wife and Kid to the interview

Is it a good idea to bring wife and kids to the interview? Someone told me that bringing wife will be a good idea to prove the legitimacy of marriage but bringing kids can annoy others .

Wife and kids are usually not allowed at the interview, although some IOs may take the opportunity to question your wife if she happens to be with you in waiting room.

So would you say it is a good idea or a bad one.

Good if their presence influences the IO to ask them a few questions to support your case, bad if their presence does nothing for the IO and they end up having to wait outside interview room for you.
