Hi,
I just checked my application status online and the message says
It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use. In order to avoid this issue, please create a Customer account (single applicant) or a Representative account (representing many individuals).

I used to check my status once a day or so. This can be a problem?
I think i checked more often when i applied for the green card and haven't gotten this message.

I'm waiting for my interview letter now. Hope this doesn't impact the processing.

Don't worry about online status. It is useless and unreliable.

No, i don't rely on their online status.
However, i was wondering if anybody has gotten the message.
I didn't know that checking the status daily can be a problem and they even block my I.P address for a certain time.

That message occurs when the site gets too many hits from same IP range.
Are you trying to connect a via proxy server or from work?

No. I'm staying home with my personal laptop.
checking once a day is too much hit?? Hm~~~
As long as it doesn't affect my application, i'm fine though~

If you only check a few times a day, it's not your IP address , but the internet gateway of your Internet provider.
No, it doesn't affect your application.
