wierd emails

i got mails from uscis this morning...kind of got me excited but in vain...

these were weird emails....as they talked about the receiving finger print ....but that was of 2 yrs back when the finger print happened...i wonder if they messed the year (it was oct 26 2004)....actually both my wife and i received emails in their account...so that was strange too...wonder what's cooking...

any one else with similar experience???

I got also also below email FROM USCIS ? not sure someone run script ?

On XXXXX X, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

I got two from CRIS and 3 from CSSO that my case has resumed after two years :)

In past my I-485 LUD got updated once in April 2005 ( inquiry ), Nov 2005 ( address change ) and then again in June and Aug 2006 ( no idea why ? transfer to ther service center, name check may be ).

As EB3 India dates are not current I am ignoring it, as predicting anything based in LUD is not a good way to predict what is coming next unless you have responded to an RFE or in approval line based on recent FP or dates.

Old experience, after 5 EAD and APs, happily ( ? ) working on AC21.

I am suprised to receive this email too saying processing has resumed on my case. My details are as below:
PD: Sept 2003
140/485 concurrent: Jan 2004
Fingerprinting done: Oct 2004
 
I have got the same kind of emails, like all your's and I have got the message which is also two years old. The following is the message.

"Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On December 17, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.".

I have seen this message, when I gave my first FP, and then I was called for an interview at the local office and was put on hold because of the retrogression.

My priority date is 02-June-2002. in EB-3.

I am in the group too, FP done 2 years back and today i got the LUD Changed. (How Stupid)
485 pending since Oct 2003.
 
Absolutely same . Rcvd emails on 10/28 about fingerprints rcvd. in 2004. MY 485 is pending since 07/2003.

Thanks Karns. Now the LUD for both myself and spouse changed on 11/07/2006 ( for the very first time, it changed on the same day for both us ).

I`m surprised too. The LUD for both myself and spouse changed on 11/11/2006 ( for the very first time, it changed on the same day for both of us ). It`s gotta be something.

LUD Changed today

After the 10/28 LUD on my 485 (when almost everybody recd it), got LUD today for both myself and spouse 485 (first time together on same date). I had started an enquiry twoo weeks back on my EAD but EAD LUD hasn't changed. Did you see any further updates MD_Rockville or jhawilla ? What could be triggering the LUD change on both the 485s ?

I used INFOPASSS but didn`t get any answer. They said I was in VSC waiting for visas # (NO WAY). My 2 cents is that VSC got the results from the investigations that was taking place in some external agency (11NOV06). Hopping for the best. Any good news, I`ll let u know.
 
Don't trust what you got from infoPass

I went to a local office several months back. The officer there doesn't even know what EB-1, EB-2, ... are and don't know what concurrent filing is ... and is very rude ... I tried to explain and soon realized that I was trying to teach a chicken how to swim ...
