Why TSC tranfered case to NSC ? HELP!

I received a letter from LNC

Hi everybody, yesterday I received a letter from LNC. It says that my case was received and it's taking between 450 and 600 days to process this application Any Ideas?
Wish you well, Hope05

If it adds any value, in my personal experience, my I-140 had been transferred from TSC to NSC, seemingly for no apparent reason. It eventually got approved at NSC. I eventually discovered that TSC was transferring cases to other service centers to reduce the backlog.

Its seems like your I-485 will get processed at NSC also, and since it got transferred to a service center, and not the local office, at this point, it would not seem like you’ll get an interview, unless NSC transfers it to your local office.

Saras76's case was a bit different where by her unapproved I-140 was transferred to a local office, which outright makes little sense. Kamma's I-485 transfer is different since the I-140 is approved, and seems more akin to a backlog reduction situation, but its not clear whether mvusa's friend is in the exact same situation, unless mvusa can supply the exact case status as shown online.

thank you for your input. My friend's case seems to be like a backlog reduction issue as well. Her I-140 was approved at TSC on July/05. Her I-485 was transferred to NSC for no apparent reason, according to the letter she received (in the mail)
She called TSC and a rep. told her they are transferring cases to speed up processing.
we'll keep you posted.
