Why some cases get left behind without RFE also?

I have always been wondering about this. The LIN# concept is a good working concept, but why is this not followed.

My case LIN-00-245/EB2/India/RIR has been left behind while immitracker says that another similar case w/LIN-00-262 approved.

God help me, as I can never understand.

My LIN#00-244-5XXXX and I talked to an IIO last week and she mentioned that she will talk to the supervioser and see that my case gets alloted to an Officer. Have not checked since.

EB2 RIR NSc chicago LIN-00256... still waiting..
I\'m just wondering what is the excuse IIO gives when people waiting for long time call them. Did anybody tell them that so many other cases have got approved and older cases r still pending..

Still Waiting...

I called this morning and was told that my I-485 was still pending and that it will be after the audit that my fingerprints and case file will be combined. The IIO meantioned how backlogged they were and to wait another 30 days...

INS doesn\'t process in the order it receives applications

INS doesn\'t process the applications in the order it receives them. A batch gets assigned to one adjudicator and he can process in a fashion(speed)he sees it fit. That is one major reason we see approvals in an unorderly manner.
