Why so many transfer cases?

As per Kashmir's latest statistics it seems that a lot of cases have been transferred and it looks like that they have been picked up at random.

I don't know whether it's good for the applicant or not but in a way it's good that atleast they are working on something.

Any thoughts?

That is I noticed from last couple days of posts. My wifes' case transferred to local office to Tucson, AZ from CSC
 
CSC REDUCING BACKLOG

I have a feeling that CSC is reducing its backlog by transferring cases to the local offices. Hopefully this will speed things up.

What do you think?

I wish that was true, because my own case was transferred just yesterday. But the reality is that there is not enough statistical data from the scanners so far to support that theory.
I must say though yesterday’s report from Kashmir shows more than 70(!) cases transferred just between 07/12 and 07/16. So far there are 2 guys in this forum who have their case transferred on 7/17(not included in the report).

So – definitely there is some activity in this direction, but I think we should wait for the next several reports to make such a conclusion. Also – as Silly Man pointed transfers usually occur in batches.
