why second finger-printing ??

I see that in this forum many people received notice for second finger printing. I was wondering if everybody has to go for second finger-printing.

FP expires after 15 months from date FP . So you need to redo it. Why? There is big discussion some where on this forum. If you search yo will get it.

Typically only one Finger Printing is done, but if your I-485 is not approved within 15 months of the first Finger Printing, then a second Finger Printing will be sent. In my case, only one FP was done.
Never understood the reason why this is done, not like your Finger Prints are going to keep changing.

Because they need to delay the processing. if they only need one finger print then the processing will not be delayed.

If you are lucky you will also get FP notices every 3 months because the BCIS does not trust your fingerprints.

besides finger print you may also need 2nd, 3rd physical exams ...
because CIS is really concerned about our health under such a stressful situation
