There is no lack of space no restricted characters nor children or teenagers as users. Most users are fully capable of using English at least on elementary level. Why not use it properly. The Grammar, vocabulary and punctuation is very important in working life. I would not hire anybody with limited skills in language. Would You?
Why not use proper English in this forum? Is there any, I mean any reason to use language such as u, ur, 4get, 2u, d for you, your, forget, to you, the and so on?
It is not hip, it is not cool but it looks stupid. And it is also sad because those users may have something important to say but they really cannot write and their messages are not read because they are unreadable.
Of course there might be an another reason. Users who use bad English really do not know how to write and spell right. It is sad but forgivable
