Why no new approvals?

Any ideas?

Or they are just not being posted here (I hope so..)

Has anyone inquired recently by calling or any other way?

Recently we saw some approvals for January, February cases - giving hopes for movement but suddently they have dried up with no apparent reasons.

Or now 485 is the maximum limit so they don't accept any calls where number of days passed are less than that.

There is some of for I-485 filers with this petition etc.

We cannot even do such petitions since I-140 is considered to be a company application and not our - how sad.

I asked at our local congressman office - if they can help. The lady said for February cases 4 more months give or take one. Inquiring more it seemed to be her judgement based on current processing date of October 10, 2002.

I don't feel like putting any Smilies here.
 
CIS is busy with H1B adjudications. After that they will fins some other excuse or go back to prior excuses like TPS, SR, Religious workers cases, internal audit................... Never ending excuses.
 
Its simple guys. Mess up ur 140 application. Thats the quick way to get an RFE and quick approval !!!
Wonder what they do to applications that are clean, no RFE required.
I guess they are running short of ink on the approved stamp.
So they can anly stamp RFE's.

I got an RFE on Sept 3rd . Sent it in on Oct 5th. Havent heard a thing yet

your approval will be there within two weeks

RFE and I140 is the way to go. Yours would get approved in another 2 weeks according to the trend we have seen.

It is quite strange that you are worried that you received no response. But you or your attorney took 1 month to send a response for RFE and you complain that you have not received anything for < 2 weeks.

Usually RFE cases are receiving best results.

Some people are never happy it seems.

I140-> RFE Sent on 09/16/2003 arrived to attorney 09/25/2003. RFE regarding Company Financial's
Replied to RFE on 09/29/2003 recieved by INS on 10/07/2003

I140 Approved on 10/18/2003.

I485 MD-> 01/05/2003
I485 ND-> 02/07/2003
Waiting for 1485 Approval.

I got an RFE on Sept 3rd as per the BCIS online status - My lawyer and I recd the RFE in the mail on Sept 26th and was turned around by Oct 4th. Sent to BCIS by FEdex - they recd it on Oct 5th and the online status changed on Oct 15th stating that they have reciepted it for Oct 14th. ...............thus the saga........

Hopefully this explains in detail to you how much time I took to send in my response. Not that it shud matter as it depends on a case to case basis on what the RFE is - for instance if u need a ED eval and dont have it to get one done itslef takes 15-20 days so considering that I consider your response to be silly.

some people are not happy???

RFE and I140 approval doesn't make sense...why don't they issue RFE to all I140 and approve it? USCIS should do that because it is a good way of reducing the back log.

take a look at other threads on the forum where I140 wait period has exceeded 15 months and people have started experiencing depression. I really feel for them. Hope USCIS whatever it is called gets it act together before it is too late and end up like what is happening at Texas center.
