I just remembered another interesting fact about alphabets and spellings.

An ancient writing system, the Phoenician system to be precise, had only 22 consonants in their Alaphabets and no vovels. It does not mean that the vovels weren't used in speech; it was just understood that

Using this system I guess we could probably compress a written text almost 70% in some cases.

I love india fro the bottom of my heart,i love bangalore more than my life.I was too depressed when i had to move on from bangalore,but i guess it was worth it in ways.

i love bangalore dude just hoping we get a better political system.I think what the doctors in india are doing is absolutely right,look at the kangress just to get votes from minorities they wont bother to sell themselves too...

Indian politicians making India a stupid place for Indians

The current UPA govt always behind the Sonia Gandhi. Who the hell is she? Does she have any political experience to govern India?
Is she an Indian?
In any country people can think of doing such a stupid mistake?

This is stupidity guys and we are stupid Indians. We will have a better respect out side than India.

Why the heck is the reservation for OBC? The political system is screwing up the premiere institutes and there by the reputation of the institutes

Reservation in Private firms. All the PSU are screwed all this time and they are getting better now because off in efficient employees. Private firms are doing good. Now the politicians want to screw up the private firms

Indian political system sucks and that needs some development. There is no point thinking about India a better place before we fix up the screwed up political system

fixing a political system.....thats almost a impossible job.....even the usa politicians may end up screwing the country in the long run (osama was their product, iraq was their product, current deficit and rising oil prices....you never know...it may send usa into such a shock...that they may not recover...)

letting unlimited number of unskilled worker....will definitely lead to future increase in crime and hate crime....and restlessness like the one in france....

but does the politicians care about all that...no they are just worried about the coming election.....if america gets screwed in the long run...thats not their problem...

Take it easy guys, there can be no end to such discussions.

With my level of hard work, I would'nt have gotten into IIT even if the all the seats were open and even if there were twice the seats. Even an OBC guy will not be able to get into these institutes without lot of hard work.

If it were upto me, I would pull out all the funding for these colleges and put it in "primary education" in remotest and poorest of places.
