Who replayed RFE: Please advice, 20 days passed no update in on-line message

Hi,

I replied our RFE details on 16th September, On line message still showing the old RFE sent message:
Who replied RFEs can please give some Idea, as how long it will take to update the online message with RFE received message.
Deadline to reply the RFE is Nov 1st, if by the time BCIS can not update my online message; what is my option, are they are going to reject our cases ?
To whom should I contact regarding this situation?

Please help me.

i replied to rfe on SEP 10 and below was the online mesg saying they got the message

On September 22, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 30 and 90 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Hi RFEJAN02,

Did you send your RFE by registered mail? Keep your mail receipt and you will be fine. It took BCIS 3 weeks to update my on-line status after they received my RFE.
 
This happens because of mail room backlogs. I replied my RFE in August. That time I spoken with local bcis immigration officer regarding one problem. He called vsc office, find out some details for me regarding my case. That time he was been told by, there is a huge back log in mail room.

WOW, rxs0005:

Was your RFE for I-485 or EAD, or else? My RFE for I0485 was turned in in late July, and the message says "...365 to 540 days..."!!!!!! Let's confirm and send out the word-of-mouth. They may well be accelerating. I am with VSC.

I did received a RFE on my EAD renewal. I replied it immediately
and as per my FEDEX tracking it was delivered on Aug 27th but
the message was not updated. I called BCIS and made a status
enquiry on Sep 15th. Guess the lady who replied told me to wait
till Sep 26th and by then if the status is not updated she will initiate a enquiry but by the end of the day my status was update on bcis website and also received EAD approval by Sep 26th. So sometimes it will work if you do a status enquiry.

So I suggest call today on the response.

Thanks guys for your replies.
I send the RFE through FEDEX and I have the package tracking number and even I took the print out of the receiving status from FEDEX site.
Hope mine will be updated soon.
