Who gets the AP documents?

Last year, i started my 140/485 process. I did not see any status change regarding AP. But all of a sudden my employer mailed me the AP for me and my wife.


I am sure i gave my home address on the application. ( i may have given a G-28, but i think it was for the 485 ).


Now i need to renew my AP. (also im planning to do AC-21) I do not want the docs to get to my employer. Else they would threaten/ torture me .

How to ensure i get it?
In case, my employer gets it, can i go to INS office and request a duplicate?

(sorry my employer is a idiot and would always put me in trouble)

-----lawyer filed your AP and after approval he sent it to your employer and now your employer sent to you

------if AP is filed by Lawyer it goes to lawyer but EAD comes to your address

----- if you are going to use AC21 you can file directly but any RFE or FP copy will come to the lawyer who filed I-485, if you wish hire YOUR lawyer and fill up G28 with him and let him represent you for your I-485 ask him to update sevice center

Best option hire YOUR lawyer or seek the service of new comany Lawyer that you are going to join and file for AC21
