I saw a reply in one of the thread that none of the EAC-02-053 applicants are approved so far. May be all these applications are with some damn officer.
Hope he awakes and starts approving the cases.

I think INS has probably approved just 20-25% of the OCT cases. A bulk of the OCT cases still need to be approved. Also, lets not forget that are a good number of Aug-Sept cases that need to be approved as well.

It seems like INS is definately taking 12 + months from RD to approve 485 cases these days.

I have already applied and received renewal of AP and EAD (see my earlier posts for details).

I also believe that all the -053- cases are with one officer, who is either on vacation or is in hibernation.
 
Just spoke to IIO

She told me they are currently doing sep 30th cases and my case would take atleast 23 more days (my RD is 10/23) to get it assigned to an officer. She also mentioned the cases are moving very slowly.

It seems to me that they handle the case based on the ND days.

Since our applications came in INS in a special period when anthrox issue was threatening to INS that they did open mails. Pluse 145I cases were flowing in INS. So our RD & ND are apart a lot. I guess some officerS may not sense the difference between RD AND ND because this wasn't a problem util then.

i guess all we need to have is patient. we will get there!!
