What a shocking news it is!! Immigration-law.com and CNN bombed this news. What will happened to our process? Please share your thoughts.

This is good thing going to happen. Though we may not be benefited but new comers two-three down the road will be able to check their petition on-line and whole process will be faster.

God bless America and White House

I think it is good!

The above report by the Senator tells in detail about the current problems that concern us. "About 5 million pending cases", "cannot get any answers from service centers either through phone or website", "long processing times", "cannot enforce current rules", etc.

I for one support splitting INS into 2 functional units.

I am also for one for splitting the service if it helps in processing the applicants in an efficient way.....
But I don\'t see any drastic measures that it will improve the processing even with the current legislation. For years, INS complaint was that it does not have necessary budgets to improve its productivity and that remains valid even with the new legislation. Hope Congress will increase budgets or at least they can collect from us.

thanks,

I think the processing will be faster, no more delays as things should be under close watch.

Dont be optimistic so fast. It may help ppl for the future.

But in the mean time, the case under process.. may suffer a huge delay.
