My I-140 has been pending close to 2 years now with no update whatsoever. My attorney said they might have lost the case. (Texas office)
After waiting for all this time, I started another application through marriage and did a I-485 interview today. (2nd December 2014)
The officer asked about the other application and we agreed to proceed with marriage application. The interview went well and the officer confirmed the same.
After the interview I went to the info pass officer to inquire about the advance parole. That's where the questions started. The lady officer at info pass said the interviewer/officer is waiting for the Texas office to send the old application (the employer based application). They will review both the applications together and make a decision. She also mentioned Texas office has not replied to this request since November 10th 2014.
I have planned international travelling on the 31st December, please advice.
