I am planning to apply for my new H1 after April 1 2004. I am currently living and working in Michigan (on my OPT). The company who is filing for my H1 is based in Florida. My employer said that assuming that at the time my H1 will be in effect, in Oct 2004, I would be most likely be still working in Michigan, so we are applying for LCA for Michigan and also for Florida as the second option. (as the employer is based there and there is a possibility that I would have to work there at their company location under the same job title, duties and salary)
Is this allowed and possible - to have 2 location options?
Also, to which Sevice Center should the H1 papers be filed - to Nebraska Service Center (as I am living and working in Michigan, and that is the primary work location on the LCA),
Or to Texas Service Center (since the company is based in Florida, which comes under Texas SC.)
I guess the company would have the answers to my questions, but I wanted to check and make sure they are right. Thanks for replies.
