I was wondering if anyone could elighten me. I'm a Born and Raised Canadian, my girlfriend is a Born and Raised American. We plan to get married in 2 years time but I don't know what to do as far as a visa and immigration go. It looks like K-1 visa is a good solution but I want to know more about K-3 and DCF Visas and if they are a possiblty. So could someone please answer the following questions for me...PLEASE!!!

1) Which visa is the best to use in this situation, K-1, K-3, or DCF?

2) When a K-1 visa gets approved, how does the 90-day limit kick in? By approval date by the INS, date recieved in hand, or can I choose when to move to the states and then the 90 days kicks in?

3) What is asked for on visa applications?

4) What other forms are going to be required by me or my girlfriend to file?

5) Can I work legally in the U.S. while on the K-1, K-3, DCF visa?

They are probably more questions, but I don't want to overwhem anyone.
I appreciate any help thank you!!!

K-3 status is if you are already married and want to be in the USA while awaiting processing of your case. The K-1 is to come to the USA to get married and then apply for adjustment of status. I've never heard of DCF, what's that?

The best way is probably to apply at for an immigrant visa at your consular post/embassy in Canada. Processing in Canada is lightning-fast, and once you're approved, you can go straight to the USA and you'll be considered a lawful permanent resident the day you enter. Oh, and... get a good immigration lawyer! :)
