which form to file for H4 renewal

Hello all,
I currently in US on H1B visa and my 485 is submitted and pending. My wife is on H4 visa and her 485 is also filed and pending. We both have EAD and AP.

I am going to apply to renew my H1B visa (I still have two years remaining on it out of the 6 years). So I know I have to file for renewal/extension of my wife's H4 visa.

So which form do we need to fill our for H4 renewal?

------------------- Form I-539 for her H4 extension. File her H4 extension with your H1 extension and ask the lawyer to send it in same envelope so that both of you get Approved same day and both will have same Expiry date on I-94

My lawyer has already sent my H1 papers and he said my wife's goes after he gets my receipt back.
So my concern is if we send it now, the processing dates for I-539 at Vermont Service Center is way back October 2007.

So how can it get approved before october end.

---------------------- you should have informed lawyer at the time when filing your H1 extension that your spouse H4 extension need to be filed.

-----------------------dont go by processing dates.H4 Extension must MUST reach USCIS before her I-94 gets expired.
So how can it get approved before october end.
------------- dont care about October end as her H4 Extension will be filed before Her I-94 expiry date.

ask the lawyer to fill up her info on form I-539, give copy of her I-94(front and back) and pages of her passport+ vith page that has H4 visa stamp. your wife need to sign form I-539 and form G28(if lawyer filing H4EXT) once lawyer gets your H1 EXT filing reciept then can attach the Copy of Primary H1 holder H1 Ext filing reciept and can mail the documents to USCIS (with Fee check)
** I dont think you have good lawyer he could have filed your wife H4 ext with your H1 extension papers.

thanks again for the reply. Lawyer has already filed her I-539, he filed it 15 days after filing my 129, it has been more than two months her 539 is filed. My 129 is already approved and will have to wait for her approval to go for stamping
