I got I-140 approval.
I filed I-485 last Dec.
I got the receipt notice of I-485.
The received date: December 22, 2003.
The notice date: December 22, 2003.
I got EAD card already. The card vaild from 04/25/2004.

Under Ac21, more than 180 days after filing I-485, I can change employer for same similar job.
I am a consultantfor for a client company. The client company is going to hire me as his employee in June of 2004.

I should count 180 days from the received date or the notice date of filing I-485?

The attorney which filed my I-485 is paid by my current employer.
I paid the I-485 application fee.
Should I change attorney service?

I only have the copies of INS receipt notices for I-485 and approval notice for I-140.
What else document I should prepare?

Thank you

----- join them and make clear that you will need letter from the new employer writing the same job skills as on approved LC for future permanent job offer AND they may have also to submit Company Financial documents to ability to pay, if you are still maintain better join them with H1 transfer and be on H1 status it is in your intrest

------ when you change employer better change lawyer or hire YOUR lawyer fill up the Form G28 and let the new lawyer send it to USCIS service center with your I-485 filing reciept so that he can represent you and if any RFe it will come to him and NOT to past lawyer , choose the lawyer who can also draft your AC21 letter, clear the payment options for use of AC21 and if any RFF before hitring your lawyer

----- try to get copy of approved LC particularly form ETA750A that has your skills in item 13 on it, the approved LC copy may be with the lawyer who filed your I-140, try to get it and dont disclose you want to use AC21 or want to change employer becase he is company lawyer and may not give you the LC copy or ask company HR to get the LC copy for your records.
if they dont give you then use FOIA and you will get the copy and employer will not know it, your new lawyer can also get your file from the past lawyer chose the lawyer who agress to do that.
Thank you
