Where to find 2003 version of I-485?

Hello,

USCIS just sent a request for additional avidence and asked a bunch of clarification questions on my I-485. When i sent my application in November 2003 i did not know i will ever need it again and of course did not make any copies. :mad: So, before i begin, i would like to find out that application that i sent in 03 is the same as current. Means, is prior version for example question 3 is the same as current version question 3 and etc?

I looked everywhere and can not find an old form.

Question: does anyone have the old form i can take a look? Please email it to me if possible.

I found a copy of the I-485 I filed in 2005. The revision date in the lower right corner shows as "02/07/00", so if this version of the form was updated in 2000 and was still valid in 2005 when I filed it, it must have been the same version you used in 2003. However, I can say for sure that the version that was valid in 2003 is not the same as the current one, as I have a blank PDF of a newer version with a revision date of 07/30/07, and there may be a newer version since then (I haven't checked).

I can't send you a blank PDF of the old version, because I don't have one, but if you have specific questions about a particular section I can look at my copy of the form and tell you which question was there and how it was worded.

Lesson learned:

Until you become a citizen, keep copies of ALL your immigration paperwork. And even after you become a citizen, consider still holding on to the paperwork, at least the papers you used when applying for citizenship.
 
Why part 4? Part 4 is just a signature page. The only difference in the new version is the addition of the email address of the attorney, and the paragraphs above the signature line are different.

For part 3 (which is on page 3 in both versions), questions 1, 6, 8, and 10 in the old version are the same as the latest version.
