Where to file I-485, local INS Service Center or where the I-140 is approved from?

In EB cases, there is a choice between the two. Generally it is most
convenient to file with the INS Service Center that approved the I-140. That way, even if your company transfers you to another part of the country, your file would not have to be moved.

Is this true? Please reply fast.

My choice

Go with the center that approved the 140 unless you have reason to believe doing so may delay your case.

We spend enough time on this and Applied at the 140 approved Service center (VSC) I live in NSC Service center jurisdiction.

The above question (Your subject) was asked by me to Sheela Murthy and the Answer (body) was sheela murthy\'s words.

I even spoke to IIOs and they also said the same thing.

Do not waste time researching on this subject, send your application where the i140 is approved.
