My I140 is just approved from TSC. My employer is Atlanta based and labor was approved in GA. But i have been working in Detroit MI for last 3 and 1/2 years.

I would like to apply 485 in NSC as TSC sucks. Am I eligible for that ? Or I have to file my 485 in TSC as my labor and 140 is done from that jurisdiction ?

Any Idea ? Any such cases or experience ?

Here is an official answer

Dear TSC friend, congratulations on your 140 approval.

Where to File:
The Service Center that has jurisdiction over your intended place of employment.

You are so lucky that you do not have to deal with TSC any more. Here is a List of docs needed

One more ?

Thanks for Info.

What if Intended place of employment in my labor is in TSC jurisdiction ? Is it still possible to change it based on fact that I have been in NSC jurisdiction for last 3 years. Any clues ?

Thanks.

There have been so many discussions on this.

The conclusion is that you can apply at either TSC (the service center where 140 was approved) or NSC (your residence). This response came from Rajiv Khanna and Sheela Murthy.

Congratulations on your 140 approval.

We had researched on "where to file 485" enough, you will get more details under this discussion. The bottom line is your have the option to file under both TSC and NSC.
