Where to apply EAD renewal: case in Local office

I was interviewed last year( not approved due to name check) and subsequently I had applied in the local office for the renewal of EAD in the local office.
However this year somebody tells me I need to apply in Chicago Lock BOX.
Please advise.

I went to loca office and they told me to file Chicago office. if possible, can you go to local office and ask them where to file ?

I talked to a Immigration offcier and he told me to apply at the local office as "my file is no longer with NVC". But Iam going to take your advice and go to the local office to inquire. Hopefully I can get an infopass soon.
 
Help For Ead E-filing

Can someone please help me in regards to the efiling for EAD.

My I485 has been filed by my company's lawyer and so is the extn for H1B beyond 6 yrs.
As a backup I am planning to do e-filing EAD on my own. I do have all the Original Recipt notices for I485 / and Approval Notice for I140.
Now my question is, since my company's Lawyer is representing my case, would the notification of filing EAD will go to him Or will come to me .
Can someone with similar experience reply please.

You know what category would be in question # 16. I am really confused.
Is it C9. am employment based tranfered to local office.
Pls advise

I got EAD papers back from Chicago office. They ask me to file in Service Center. you have to use C09 for employement.
 
how many days did they send the file back in. and why do you have to apply in the service centre. That is unnecessary waste of time.
and you told me the local office told you to file in chicago. Did they cash your checks??
