Hi All:

I spoke to Rajiv's office regarding the petition for severely
delayed I-485 cases. They would like to know where they
should send the peitition besides the VSC BCIS director.

I think this petition should also be addressed to the congressmen
in charge of immigration, and AILA. What do you think?

Please post the party you think should get this petition that
would speed up clearing the backlog. PLease post their specific
names and contact info, and email addresses.

Thanks!

Let's use our time to find out all politicians support immigration.

For example. senators come up with the portability bill.

I'll say media too. Washington post maybe a choice. Let's tell the media backlog is not done but is longer.

White house. There's an email to white house.

But can you also tell Rajiv's office change Oct to Oct/Nov/Dec.

If you live in boston, then you can write a letter to Senator Kennedy's office. I did the same thing, I asked them to update my case status and speed up my case process. In a week I got the response from the Senator saying that my case is approved.
Thanks

pgreencard, can you give us more details on writing to Senator Kennedy. What's the address
and what's the reason they expedite your case.
can you give more detail, your RD, the day your
wrote the letter.

Thanks!

If your case is transferred to Boston INS then the senate office can help you. Since my case is transferred to Boston Ins my attroney told me to write letter to Senator Kennedy's office. If the case is in vermont then I dont know whether the senate office can help. The senate office just enquired about my case, and they were informed that my case is approved on June 5th 2003. They just gave this message. I dont know what kind of action they would have taken if my green card is not approved. After writing the letter In a week I got the answer from the senate office . At present I am at work. After I go home I will give you the senate office. Or if you call the 411 and ask for Senator kennedy's office.
Thanks

We can send it to:

1. VSC director
2. Director of BCIS Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
3. pro-immigrant Congressmen/congresswomen

Email Addresses of Important People

Hi All:

To let the world know about our ordeal in this unreasonable
process, we need to get the email addresses of the following:

VSC BCIS Director (name?)
Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey
Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham
Senator Edward Kennedy
Senator Sam Brownback
Sen. Patrick Leahy
Senator Luis Gutierrez
Washington post

Please help to find out! FYI, the petition will be sent out in
a few days. The most convenient way is through email.
