Thanks for the info. Do you know anybody in this situation and what did he/she do ?

You still have to apply at CSC because that's where your 485 is pending. We moved from CA to IL and our lawyer sent our renewals to CSC and they were approved by CSC. In case your case has transferred to a local office, then I think you send them to the local office..but I am not sure though.
