Hi lakksh,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I read, but did not understand clearly.

Could you please give "your opinion" where to send my I-485 based on that FAQ?

Thank you very much!

imli,
May I refer u again to my previous post which I think is clear and very up todate? See the pdf file there for more information

Where to file...

When you e-filed your I-140, you must have gotten an electronic receipt in a PDF. At the bottom, there is a statement that reads "Please mail in any supporting documentation to this address:" I believe that must be the one??

Yes you can use electronic receipt.

Imli is talking about -485, not i-140 which he did already. The e-filed I-140 goes to TSC. Effective July 30, irrespective where your i-140 is pending, One needs to send I-485 to the nearest service center.

So Imli should send his I-485 to NSC only. My I-140 is pending at TSC but i will be sending my i-485 to NSC because of new rule.

Hope this clears the air

Why are you guys not reading my post which clearly says according to the Aug 8 Faq relase of USCIS that one can send either TSC or NSC so I am a bit confused here that whats the deal about the nearest one here or am I missing

something?

Hi Lakksh,

I think, Raonj1 is not wrong. In my opinion, we will be safe not matter we are sending to TSC or NSC (even it is the wrong service depending on our location). The pdf link you have given says:

"During the first 30 days of “Direct Filing” (July 30 to August 28), USCIS will not reject any form incorrectly filed at the prior filing location. However, applicant must include the correct fee and must meet all other requirements for a proper filing".

Plus, the link Raonj1 has supplied is dated August 8, 2007 (which is one of the lastest update on this issue).

But, this is just my opinion; I can be wrong.
