Where is the approval notice sent?

So if I have to use AC21, how do I show proof that my I-140 has been approved? If its the employers document, my lawyer will most likely refuse to even give me a copy.

i am not sure how to go about this..i think you must post this question in the I-140 thread..

can anyone else help??

Huh? I thought this was the I140 thread...

You are in the right place.

The notice of approval for I-140 will be sent to the attorney
who handled the case for you.

--- After I-140 approval the USCIS will sent I-140 approval to the lawyer and may also send curtsey copy to employer
If its the employers document, my lawyer will most likely refuse to even give me a copy.
---- If your employer requests then lawyer will give you the copy of I-140 approval.
** Try to get copy of I-140 filing receipt from lawyer or from employer HR that I-140 filing receipt has your case# and later you can take a printout from BCIS Online status punching the receipt # and that will be the proof that I-140 has been approved, the case # will match with the receipt #. Better also to get LC approved copy that is with lawyer because Form ETA750A is with LC approved package. If you want to use AC21 in future then new lawyer can look at ETA750A and will write the same skill or job title

Thanks Ginnu. I don't think my employer will want to give me the copy of the I140 approval notice. The lawyer wouldn't care, except for that fact.
I already have a copy of the I140 receipt with the receipt # on it. Using that is how I came to know I'm approved (from the online status).
I guess I could use the receipt # for AC21, but I would think that would delay the case since they would have to look up the information in my file. I've heard that any time they have to cross reference files it causes tremendous delays.

The lawyer has already refused to give me a copy of the Labor Certification approval. Is there any workaround for that, if trying for AC21?

Dang... this message board is a veritable treasure chest of information! When it comes to immigration, ain't nothing that one of us hasn't already encountered and surmounted, it seems, huh? :) Well, almost nothing I suppose...

All the people sharing information here are great! I hope all of us can get out of the clutches of USCIS soon and get on with our lives.

Thanks!!
