Where is my I485 reciept?

Right now I am a little bit worried. I got all the reciepts for I130/131/765 at the same day but still has not got the I485 one(Check for I485 has been cashed though). Is it supposed to arrive late? What was the situation for you guys? Or maybe I should be just patient. :-)

We have the same notice date of 5/1, I received all my Receipt Notices at the same time. I believe you should have received it, but it may have been lost or delayed. I believe you need to wait 30 days before you can inquire about a form?

Still no I485 receipt yet. But surprisingly, I got two mails today for my I765 and I485 biometric appointment. Is there gonna be a problem if I do not have I485 receipt when I go to do my I485 biometric? Or bringing in appointment letter is enough.

On the biometric appointment letter, it does have a receipt number for my I485 and I can check the status of it online.
 
You won't need the I-485 receipt notice at the time of the FP - you will just need your appointment letter. However, you should try to call USCIS to check why you didn't receive your I-485 receipt notice.

Well speaking only from experience here, when I went for my biometric appointment, the lady wanted my appointment letter. They took all of them from the people waiting and stamped them and gave them back after the photos etc.

If you have a receipt number it might have got lost in the mail, they certainly received your application and processed your check/application. I'd try and give them a call and ask if you can have another sent. It wouldn't hurt to try at least.

Having said all that, when I first applied in Sept 2002 at the NYC office, it took them 10 months to get a receipt to me. They're alot better at getting them to people these days it seems.
 
Thanks a lot for replies. I checked my I485 status online by using receipt number showed in biometric appointment letter and it shows USCIS recieved it on May 1st, just like all other forms. I guess I do not have to worry too much now but I will definitely give them a call later for this missing receipt issue. :)

Hi, Homermn2001, my DO is New York City and I will do my FP this Saturday. A little bit nervous since it is the first time for me to deal with USCIS after submitting all the forms. :) It is nice to have a friend who has the same ND so let's keep in touch with our timeline.
