Where is EAD processed?

When sending in the AOS packet to the Chicago lockbox and looking at the processing times for my Local DO (St. Paul) and Service Center (Neb) which one will process the EAD from this packet so I have a good idea of how long it will take?

EAD, AP are processed by NBC, also they schedule the FP at your local ASC.

But your I-485 interview will be held at your local DO.
 
I filed with Chicago Lockbox, my case is being processed there.
My biometrics/fingerprints was and my interview will be at the Portland,ME DO/ASC. Even though the ServiceCenter in Vermont would be regionally in charge, they have nothing to do with my case so far.

Not true Rex. I-130 goes to your service center and they contact NVC to get an immigrant visa number. Chicago lock box is only an NBC mail sorting facility and the applications are diverted to the respective offices for processing.

How so ? My cases still have MSC application numbers, the NOAs I'm receiving are all coming from Chicago as far as the senders adress and the postal stamp prove anything. I have never received any notice that my case is being processed in Vermont. Everytime they offer an adress for replies or appeals it's again Chicago. I'm under the impression that everything goes through Chicago and Vermont is not involved at all. But maybe it's just me.
 
Me too! Everything is either NBC or Chicago! NSC is supposed to handle cases in my jurisdiction, but their processing dates don't even list the I-130 for my category. I've been looking at the CSC processing dates to have an idea.

Why is the NBC mailing address being printed on the receipt notices?
The NBC will serve as the hub and conduit for USCIS Field Offices and will house files onsite until cases are ready to be forwarded to the appropriate USCIS Field Offices for interview. As such, customers should utilize the NBC address provided on the receipt notice for forwarding any additional information or related correspondence.

If you are filing only I-130, you need to send it to the service center that has jurisdiction over your area or residence. If you file I-130 and I-485 concurrently with other applications, you need to send it to the NBC where; I-130 is processed and sent to the service center where it waits for a visa number fron NVC; I-485 preliminary processing is done and it is sent to the DO for further processing and interview preps; I-765 and I-131 are processed at the NBC.

If you look at the case processing tables here... https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp? you will find that I-130 for immediate relatives and others is processed by the respective service centers and not the NBC. There was a recent memo from USCIS regarding transfer of cases to the CSC to reduce backlog in other USCIS offices, so my "best guess" would be that NSC transferred I-130 for spouse to CSC for faster processing.

Thanks for clearing that up again.
Since I'm not dealing with Vermont or any other Service Center at all, I don't care about it unless I'd have to.
Like I said, I filed with NBC and biometrics and interview appointment are at the ASC/DO in Portland, ME, so it really doesn't matter.

Thats correct. It shouldnt matter to you what USCIS does with your applications once you send them, but it DOES matter where you send them in the first place.
