This question is not for me (haven't even got mine yet) so I don't have too much details. But, a relative of mine wants to renew her green card. She doesn't primarily live here anymore (hasn't lived here for over about 10 yrs now) but visits often enough to fulfill the requirement.
She got her's through her husband (now ex)- I suppose 10 yrs back!
She will be visiting in the summer and wants to find out how to go about renewing it.
Can she do it at the consulate where she lives or does she have to do it in the US? Would she require a US address? (guess she can always use her ex's or my address). Would she be required to physically be here the whole time, while renewal is going on? How long does it take, approx?
Any useful information and as much detail as possible will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much
