Anyone who knows about this
My company had issued leave of absence notice to every emploee on 8/19/03, and filed its bankruptcy on 8/29/03. Which is a date when I went to unemployment status?
My H-1B is expiring at the end of September in this year, it was in a process of its extension though. My current idea is if I failed to get a job by the end of September, I will go back to my home country to keep my status clean. And then, my wife will gets F-1 in our country, and I will come back here with F-2. You think it will work? I heard my H-1B was already out of status when I went to unemployment. I just warry that the F applications will be refused because I have been out of status.
