Inspired by discussions about eccentric ways to lose the CG

I dont think it is of much help instead of paper. :p

It should be in a secured place but not in a place like a safe that cause attention. if a burglar enters, he
may carry away teh safe and deals with it later.

You should buy a safe that looks like a trashbin
or a toilet paper disposer

Just a caution note ... Card will be little harder then the toilet paper ... use with care ... :p :D

Very risky!! What if you use GC and flushed off instead of toilet paper?? :D :D
Or What if you or spouse or family member puts your trashbin where it belongs to??? :D :D

Lighten up, man. :) I've spent six years jumping through hoops for GC, started the process three times from the scratch, wrote hunderds and read thousands dead serious posts. So I think it's OK to post a flippant message once in a while.

you all miss the point here. It is not a big deal to lose GC in the USA.
You just apply for a new one. It is a pain in the neck if you lose it outside
the USA

the law says you are suppose to have it with you at all times

keep the social security card at home

lawsuit is still pending about whether a police officer can ask for it or not.

so my advice would be to be sure and have it upon entering any government building or the airport.
