Where Can we get the PCC from?

I would appreciate if someone can guide me for where to get the PCC from chicago?

I got my India PCC through Indian Embassy in Houston in the month of Aug'04. It took me 6 weeks for the whole process.

I did the following:

- Filled out the Misc services application form
- Sent 3 photographs (not sure about the # of photos, check the website for details: http://www.cgihouston.org/)
- $26 Money Order ($11 service fee and $15 prepaid courier for passport return)
- Cover letter stating the purpose for which the PCC is required(for Canadian Immigration)
- Copies of Passport, I-797 and Visa (front and back pages of passport, and visa page, copy of I-797)
- Usually it takes them 4 weeks to contact your local police in India and verify your information. You can mail your Original Passport after 4 weeks. Note that they will not issue your PCC until you mail your original passport since they will stamp in your passport before they can release your PCC. Also note that (from my experience) you will not receive any correspondence from them as to when you should mail your passport..You have to call them up and ask them if your PCC is ready and whether you can send your passport to them or just mail your passport after 4 weeks...
