where can i take stamping?

My papers are approved 2 weeks back,
during filing my papers i gave chennai consulate as my consulate for stamping. but now i am in dubai, can i go for stamping here in dubai? if so what are all the things i have to do? pls., let me know....

how long u been in duabi
as ur case mine also Chennai was a designated Consulate and i went here in Australai for stamping and i got stamped without no question
if u stay more than 6 months and stiill u continue in legal thr no problem

thanks. I am here in dubai for 1year and i have res. visa of UAE.

still i have doubt....
do i need to submit any form requsting the change of consulate for stamping? or is there any othere formalities there for this?

not necessary just go in with ur I797 approval notice and stand in front of them they may ask u how long u been in Dubai and what ur doing? reply them honestly u will get it..... even for me they didnt ask me y did u come here when ur designated Consulate was chennai!!!!!!
