Where can I take DVL photo? Is it the same as a passport photo taken at Walgreens CVS etc?
 
Actually the photo that got me the DV-2014 win was taken at a CVS in the afternoon of the last day of the registration period. :) We were just hit by super storm Sandy.
 
Oh, thanks for that info. However does CVS also provide a digital image for the photo? Which is I think how they request it now..Or did you scan it yourself? Is it the same as a passport photo?

It was less expensive to get a digital version on a CD. I think I paid only 6 bucks or something. I had to do the cropping myself using this: http://travel.state.gov/_res/flash/cropper/FIG_cropper.html#

A 2x2 passport photo is basically the same thing.
 
I used my iphone for the picture then cropped it with the state department's photo tool.
