The general practice is this
1). You are supposed to file your I-485 based on your current address, this is what I choose.
2). You can choose based on your Company HQ.
3). You can also choose to file from where your H1 and I-140 got approved.
Suppose you are living in CA and you file your i-485 in VSC, there is some chance that they will transfer your file to CSC, which may delay your process. Most of the lawyer's would insist on filing on the same place where you live. By any standards, VSC is the best place. I filed on NSC as per my lawyers advise, even though I could have filed at VSC as my I-140 got approved from there and my firm is in NJ.
