Where can i file my I-485 and EAD ? Which service centre is preferable ?

I don't how you get to choose any service center. But if I were you I would pick Vermont (VSC) (it might be even better if you could go to that little Missouri service center although I never figure out who will go there and how would they be so fast).
At least no NSC or TSC for sure.

Given a chance I would choose VSC.
The general practice is this
1). You are supposed to file your I-485 based on your current address, this is what I choose.
2). You can choose based on your Company HQ.
3). You can also choose to file from where your H1 and I-140 got approved.
Suppose you are living in CA and you file your i-485 in VSC, there is some chance that they will transfer your file to CSC, which may delay your process. Most of the lawyer's would insist on filing on the same place where you live. By any standards, VSC is the best place. I filed on NSC as per my lawyers advise, even though I could have filed at VSC as my I-140 got approved from there and my firm is in NJ.
