Hi Guys,

Where are all the EAD card approvals.

The latest JIT shows that they are up to 07/11/01.
But I haven\'t seen a EAD card approval for a long time.
I am not referring to interim EAD cards, but the real thing.
I believe the AVM should be saying my EAD case is approved,
but nothing so far.

It\'s bizzare. The JIT says they are up to 07/11 ND,
so at least some of us should have got our EAD approved
as per the AVM.

The date on the JIT means that every single case
before 07/11 has been assigned to an officer.

Normally JIT report is very good with regard to EAD
and AP cases.

Bongo,
To make matters worse, even if you get approved, you won\'t receive it, I \'ve been waiting for this damn card since 07/18.

I guess we come under 90 day category

Bongo,

I am a bit confused about how to interpret! Let me explain; As per JIT here are the processing dates/categories:

I-765 30 Day 07/11/01 -(c)(8) Initial (c)(3)(iv) Special Students)
I-765 90 Day 06/14/01 -(a)(6), (a)(13), (c)(1), (c)(2), (c)(3), (c)(4), (c)(5), (c)(6), (c)(7), (c)(8)

But when we file for EAD along with 485, that comes under (c)(9) Which is not there in any of the specified two categories!

When I saw in April thread I thought probably we fall under 90-day category! The most recent EAD approval was for some one with 6/12 ND and before that person almost every one got EADs.

Poor knowledge always leads to bad judgement

Please, please, Post such kind of questions only AFTER you got a good knowledge of what category your EAD falls in, 30-day or 90-day. I-485 EAD is a 90-day EAD, which means by law your case has to be adjudicated with 90 days from submission (RD) and if not you have the right to get an interim one which has the same legal effect to authorize you to work just as an official one.

Which category does our EAD cards fall under

Hang on if you look at Fragoman\'s site:
www.fdbl.com the JIT report listed there
is as follows.

a) I-765 30 Day 07/11/01 -(c)(8) Initial (c)(3)(iv) Special
    Students)

b) I-765 90 Day 06/14/01 -(a)(6), (a)(13), (c)(1), (c)(2), (c)(3),
    (c)(4), (c)(5), (c)(6), (c)(7), (c)(8) replace/renewal

I was assuming a) because it says "Initial" it referred to our
cases. Now b) says "replace/renewal" so isn\'t this for people
who want to replace/renew their cards after already receiving
the first one?

Hi All,
Today i checked the status of my EAD ,it is saying your application is approved and card is ordered and will take 120 to 140 days. My question is is it really taking that many days to receive the card?
How long it is taking to get card in mail? When can I expect it?

My details are,
ND march 27,2001
REF July 5th (Marriage certificate)
AVM updated on Aug 26th, (Received the documents)
Approval Date of EAD is Sep6th as per AVM.

Thanks,
pak
